This last one came out pretty good. I can point out my uncle but that’s about it. These are extremely old photos I think my uncle is maybe 20 or younger here.
While I was visiting my grandma’s house she took me to the part of the where my dad and my mom lived (it’s a really huge house). So me and my mom started going through a few things that were left behind from years ago (25 years?) I found these negatives tucked away inside a drawer, im glad you can still see some of the faces.
This photoset I took on the roof of my uncle’s house/restaurant. He lives in a town called Puente Piedra. Ten years ago the town was smaller and not much happened. This time I visited a lot of new businesses have opened up along with a casino or two. The town is surrounded by large sand dunes and it’s mainly an arid region. Looking around the town you can see the telephone wires criss-cross like a giant spider web.
I took a close up shot of some of the houses that are built higher up on the dunes and you can see most of them are piled right on top of each other. Most houses in this area are unfinished, on the roof from where I was you can sit right at the edge and see the sidewalk right under you.
Here’s the first set of photos from my trip to Peru. I took these in my mom’s old house. It’s been locked up for a few years now since no one lives there. Everything is pretty the same as I remember it ten years ago. Aside from the bags of clothes and suitcases on the beds. Inside I found a few small things my mom and her sister left behind when they last lived here. Books, shoes, papers, jewelry, etc. I always admired the things left back in this house, it reminds me of the times I spent with my grandfather.
sidenote; I left a few pokemon figures back when I was ten in this room, I was really hoping they would still be there. No luck.
I have wifi again! :’)
I left for a few days to visit my dad’s family. On the first day my nieces and nephews took me to a beach. The pacific ocean is really really cold ._.
The sand on this side was much darker than the sand back home. Where we stayed is an area that is completely surrounded by large sand dunes and desert.
